Justice Anderson hosts visit by Kyrgyzstan judges studying American rule of law
Late in October, Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Paul Anderson was the chief host to a visiting delegation of jurists from Kyrgyzstan. a democratic republic formed 17 years ago, one that has been called an "island of democracy" in Central Asia.

They came to Minnesota to study our court system and our rule of law. It is part of Kyrgyzstan's stated effort toward judicial reform in a place that had been under tight Soviet control and influence for seven decades.

Justice Anderson was selected as host because of his international reputation for upholding the rule of law and acting as an ambassador for this cause to many countries.
